"Great service, awesome food, and a wonderful crew. Got to sit and chat with the owner and I have to say he is a wonderful storyteller, especially when you're there late at night on a business visit. Certainly pulls off the barkeep personality. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. We got the nacho platter, dropped the olives and had the smoked brisket on top, honestly, the flavor was amazing. We were provided with sufficient sour cream and salsa to completely eat the platter which was also quite refreshing. The nachos did not get soggy and the nachos were also layered so very few did not have cheese. A wonderful experience. A wonderful chat and if you ever find yourself being followed downtown by someone, the owner here will certainly take care of you and make sure that you are safe. Thank you for a wonderful evening! A true refreshing experience for Sault Ste Marie."

"Wonderful, friendly service. We felt very welcome and had a great time hanging out. Food was tasty and served in a timely manner. I even ordered the Canadian poutine. Yum! Who doesn't like gravy? We were excited to find they sell their own maple syrup too and had to buy a few bottles! If we're ever back in town, we'll definitely come back."

"Great food and great drinks done well! The staff are friendly and welcoming the second you walk in. We had the Pizza and Wings combo, both of which were hot and fresh! The wings had a House-made Bourbon sauce on them that was exceptionally good, very sweet and flavourful. I will definitely be trying it on their burger and grilled cheese sandwich. They recommended we try the Candied Almonds and some Cinnamon Sugar dusted flatbread bites. Both items were incredible and addictive to enjoy. Looking forward to trying their Flank Steak Sandwich next time in! For those interested, they did perform an "Absinthe Ritual" for us, which I've not seen done anywhere else in town!"

"I visited with my family for dinner and am so glad we found this place- I'll be back often! The service was amazing and we felt so welcome, even with a busy toddler, for the entire time we stayed. The food was delicious; we ordered poutine, bacon mac & cheese, brisket tacos, kids chicken tenders, plus tried a dill chicken flatbread (unsure of the menu item name). I only wish my stomach had room for more!"

"We went here for a simple family dinner. We ordered the mac and cheese, burger, tacos and wings Fries upgraded to brisket poutine Ratings: Burger 5/5 (so so so good! Would go back for this!!!) Tacos 4/5 (good but serving is a bit small) Wings 5/5 (so good!) Mac and cheese 3.5/5 (just okay) For the brisket upgrade (it was finely chopped so we can't taste the brisket properly) Service was superb! Parking (at the back 1-2min walk going to the resto) Ambiance was good! Space inside can accommodate stroller/wheelchair Would go back for wings and burgers and will try their hotdogs too since it was not available when we came."

"The waitstaff were friendly and gave extra advice for local activities as we were on vacation. They were also patient when our son accidentally knocked his water over. The bathrooms were very clean. Our entrees were fresh in-house cooked. However, the nachos, though marketed as great, were bland, boring, and unlayered with shredded cheese nuked in the microwave over the top. We were surprised how long our food took to arrive given we were the only customers. My daughter's tacos were accidentally spilled on the way to the table. The second batch arrived quite quickly which made us wonder even more why it took so long for our food to arrive. The owner seemed quite nice and passionate about his enterprise. I do hope this restaurant succeeds."

"Such a great culinary experience. Would strongly recommend. We drove up from Sudbury to the Sault in very bad weather conditions. We arrived in the city, very tired and hungry, looking for a simple meal. A quick Google search led us to Ignition, and it very much changed our moods. We were greeted instantly and led to our table. Once we were sat, we were welcomed with a packed house,,great live music by an acoustic duo and a patron very exited by his Thunder Cats replica sword, which I was invited to wield ( damn thing had girth) from There we ordered our drinks. Your 55 Lager is to die for. Congrats Sault!. It couldn’t get get better from there , but I was wrong. I dare ordered a smoked burger, and thank my lucky stars, it was actually smoked! Complimented by a bourbon bbq sauce, it was the best burger I ever had. I have so much more to add by experience at Ignition, but it’s worth more checking it out for yourself ! Eat here.
